Logan Brian Smith

I only have a few minutes but wanted to post some pictures of our new baby Logan Brian Smith. He was born March 24th at 2:05 in the afternoon. 8 lbs 12 oz and 22.4 inches long. He is wonderful and we are all doing well.

How does your garden grow?

We have received more rain this calendar year thus far then all of last year and boy does our garden love it. Brian has been working on the sprinkler system but with all the rain we have not needed it yet. We are quite excited with all the growth and hope to have quite the bountiful harvest.

Here is Anna playing outside the garden gate. You can see all the trenches for the irrigation and water and electric lines Brian is putting in. Anna loves working outside with Daddy.

Corn and peas growing together. The peas will grow up the corn stalks and not need a trellis.

The mounds in the back have corn, peas, beans, watermelon, cantaloupe, and zuchinni. Then in the rows in front of those there are herbs, carrots, onions, beets, spinach, and more beans.

This other side has the same mounds in the back and then cucumber, tomatoes, and sweet and hot peppers.

Can you tell we are so happy with our garden?

Anna has taken to putting her feet up and relaxing while eating much to her parent's dismay.

This is what happens when Daddy leaves his "toys" out.
