Fall 2012 cleanup

Here are various pictures of the kids "helping" with the cleanup last fall.  We had lots of branches to run through the chipper and lots and lots of leaves to rake.

Apples, Apples, Apples

My parents have two apple trees in their back yard and fall 2012 we had quite a good harvest.  We did a bit of sauce and a lot of dehydrating.  We have 16 trays for our dehydrator and we filled it several times.  We did dried apple slices and fruit leather.  Here are a couple pictures of the kids helping Brian. And one of the kids on my birthday with my birthday present a 12 quart pot for canning.
Ta-Da!

Kids liked to eat the small pieces deemed unfit for the dehydrator.

August 2012 trip to AZ

Anna LOVES the water.  Every time we mention going to Arizona she asks if we can swim.  She also says how she wishes we could move back to Arizona so we could swim everyday.  Sorry Anna that is not happening but luckily we go often and when we went August 2012 we did get to swim several times. Anna was in heaven.

Brian and cousin Troy shooting water through a noodle at other swimmers.

Splashing and fun.

Logan LOVES other kids toys especially big trucks.

Logan also loves babies.  He is here with Daddy and cousin Molly.

Summertime Fun Montage

Since I am playing catch up I thought I would post several random pictures from Summer 2012.  Of course with how amazing and good looking my family is it was hard to pick just a few. We had lots of fun in the beautiful Utah summer. So glad we are here.

Playing at the Badger's house when my friends Amy and Brent came to visit her parents.

Froze chocolate bananas according to directions in the Friend and the kids LOVED them. Well Logan loved the chocolate more than the banana but who doesn't?

Love Logan's grin.

Anna loves to pose. Here is her scary face.
Its tiring work being a kid.

Logan helping Daddy with one of many projects.  This is a press he made to make pellets to burn.

Here is the beginning of the aquaponics we did outside until winter and then moved inside.

I love buzz cuts on little boys and here is Brian giving one to Logan. He got a little hair in his eyes and mouth.

Logan very confident in pink.

Trip to Ogden July 2012

We went to visit Aunt Amy and Uncle Landon in Ogden in July of 2012.  We had so much fun.  In fact we were so busy having fun that I don't have any pictures of their new house. But I am posting several that I do have of a couple places we went.  They sure showed us a good time. :)  We went to what I call the train park but it has another official name I can't remember.  There were lots of old trains that we were allowed to climb in and around.  It was really interesting to see the big trains up close.  Brian and Landon looked at the engines and I think they almost had more fun that Logan who loved to work all the levers (he did not want to leave the steam engine) and peek his head into anything eye level.

We also went to the duck pond (I can't remember the official park name).  We got to see the ducks and geese and then walked (some people ran) around the pond.
